The 4th NECDC Inter State Friendship Cup Men’s U19 2026 witnessed two rain-curtailed league encounters, with Nagaland and Mizoram emerging victorious in their respective matches through composed performances with both bat and ball.
Match 1: Nagaland vs Manipur
Nagaland Clinch 5-Wicket Win Over Manipur in Rain-Reduced Clash
Nagaland secured a solid 5-wicket victory over Manipur in a match shortened to 39 overs, successfully chasing a revised target of 159 under the VJD method.
Manipur – Innings: 184 all out in 43.1 overs
After being put in to bat, Manipur posted 184 runs, building their innings through steady contributions in the middle order.
MD Danish Khan (36 off 51) and Naeesh (35 off 37) were the key contributors, helping Manipur reach a competitive total.
Nagaland’s bowling attack delivered a disciplined performance, led by Yashimeren Jamir (3/18 in 10 overs) and Amongti Lkr (3/16 in 5.1 overs), who ensured regular breakthroughs.

Chasing a revised target, Nagaland showed composure and control, reaching 160/5 in 32.5 overs.
Samir Ali anchored the chase with a fluent 50 off 44 balls, while Tachuye added a steady 35 off 65, guiding the team home comfortably.

Batting first, Sikkim managed 153 runs, with Parvin Kuikel top-scoring with 45 off 54 balls.
