Doyang Queens secured a commanding 7-wicket victory over Tizu Warriors in the 4th Edition Women’s Champions Trophy 2025, held at the Sovima Cricket Ground, Chümoukedima. A dominant bowling display led by Rongsenmenla and Bipila set up a comfortable chase for the Queens.
1st Innings – Tizu Warriors: 52/10 in 27.0 Overs
Batting first after being put in, Tizu Warriors struggled against Doyang Queens’ disciplined bowling and were bowled out for just 52 runs in 27 overs. Najmeen and Manisha were the joint top scorers with 7 runs each, highlighting the challenges faced by their batting lineup.
Doyang Queens’ bowling was spearheaded by Rongsenmenla, who returned outstanding figures of 4/10 in 6 overs, and Bipila, who supported brilliantly with 3/8 in 6 overs, tearing through the Warriors’ batting order.
